As the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the nation, Parent Teacher Association (PTA) reminds our country of its obligations to children and provides parents and families with a powerful voice to speak on behalf of every child while providing the best tools for parents to help their children be successful students. Every person who joins a local PTA automatically becomes a member of both the state and national PTAs (http://www.pta.org/). Together we are a powerful voice for children. With your help, we can continue to work toward PTA's goal of a quality education and nurturing environment for every child. Forest Hills Elementary PTA is searching for new members to serve on our PTA Board. If you or someone you know is interested, please call the school office at 754-322-6400. Volunteers are the backbone of our school. Volunteers are needed to assist in classrooms, in the Media Center, and during some off campus field trips. In order to volunteer, you must first register at http://www.getinvolvedineducation.com. 2010-2011 PTA Board Members Vice President-TBA |
